My pledge is to work together with all our members and with as many other people as possible via social media so that we can support and encourage each other to make small changes in our lifestyles in order to help towards the common goal of the whole world to reach a level of net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

My challenge is that we all try to contribute simple eco tips on the Wisdom Trust website so that, as a movement, we can publish seven new eco-tips each and every week. Then we will ask everyone to adopt just two of these new eco tips in their own lives every fortnight out of the fourteen eco tips suggested over those two weeks.

This will mean that over the next two years, everyone will make 100 small but significant changes in their own lives to help protect our environment. And with enough people doing it all around the world, that’s got to make a difference!

My hope is that as the whole planet recovers from the COVID 19 pandemic, we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to live in communities that are safe, happy and secure. Working together we can build communities where local people work as a team to support each other, regardless of race, culture or faith, so all can benefit from strong local education, the best local healthcare possible and a friendly, enriching local community spirit with a calendar of exciting local events (including cultural, music and sporting events) that everyone can enjoy together.

And in these communities, local people will come together to form groups that deliver vital support to families, the elderly, the unwell and the lonely so that nobody is left behind and where everyone can enjoy being part of caring and sharing society.

Covid19 has been a notorious threat to our daily lives. After the end of covid19, communities will come togather again.
